Matthew O'Sullivan-Ruiz

Matthew O'Sullivan-Ruiz currently serves as a Senior Deputy County Counsel for the County of San Diego since April 2020. Prior to this role, O'Sullivan-Ruiz was an Associate Attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from November 2016 to March 2020 and a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina from October 2015 to October 2016. O'Sullivan-Ruiz earned a Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law in 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, as well as Spanish, from UC Santa Barbara, completed in 2011.
