Divya Persai serves as a Population Health Management Analyst at the County of San Mateo since January 2019 and also works as a Researcher at the University of California, San Francisco from November 2017. Previously, Divya held the position of Research and Evaluation Specialist at the Santa Clara County Public Health Department from December 2017 to August 2018 and worked as a Consultant for the Public Health Foundation of India from February 2011 to December 2016. Divya’s experience includes managing project activities, developing study materials, liaising with health authorities, and conducting quantitative and qualitative studies. Earlier in the career, Divya worked as an Epidemiologist at the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, focusing on HIV Sentinel Surveillance and behavioral surveillance surveys across the country. Divya holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) from the Peoples College of Dental Science and Research Centre.
