Duane Wood

Duane Wood is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in technology strategy and management. Currently serving as Sr Technology Strategist and Enterprise Architect for the County of Santa Clara since September 2018, Duane has led the development of a comprehensive 3-year IT strategic plan and oversees the SAP LeanIX architecture. Previously, Duane acted as Director of IT, managing a team of 35 within a large organization of over 22,000 employees and an $8B budget. Duane also holds a position on the Executive Council of the BRM Institute, advising on best practices in Business Relationship Management. Previous roles include IT Business Partner at Granite Construction, IT Service Delivery Manager for the County of Monterey, and Senior IT Project Manager positions at Visa and Silicon Valley Bank. Duane's career began at HSBC, where significant responsibilities included managing a $12M budget and ensuring critical enterprise software support across multiple international data centers. Duane holds a BA in Liberal Studies from California State University, Northridge.
