Aramis Nahabedian

Aramis Nahabedian, NIGP-CPP, CPPO serves as the Director of Contracting for the County of Ventura since November 2015, overseeing the complete Procurement & Contract Management Cycle for the public agency. Previous experience includes a role as Master Chief in the US Navy Reserve, managing up to 700 personnel and serving as Program Manager for infrastructure projects in Afghanistan. As a solo practitioner at the Law Offices of Aramis Nahabedian from 2001 to 2011, expertise was developed in Contracts, Negotiation, and various fields including Environmental and Corporate Law. Earlier career experience includes a position as a Legal & Publishing Clerk at Rhino Entertainment. Aramis Nahabedian holds a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, a leadership degree from the U.S. Naval War College, a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from UC San Diego, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Administration at the University of La Verne.
