Mark L. Bellamy, Jr. is a seasoned professional in county administration with extensive experience in local government. Currently serving as County Administrator for the County of York since February 2024, Mark previously held the position of Deputy County Administrator at York County from April 2018 to February 2024, where responsibilities included oversight of Public Works, Human Resources, Planning and Development Services, Public Affairs, Real Estate Assessment, and Economic Development. Prior to that, Mark held roles as Public Works Director and General Services Director at York County, VA from October 2011 to April 2018, and served as Fleet Manager for the County of York from March 2001 to October 2011. Mark earned a BA in Business Administration from Virginia Wesleyan University, pursued additional studies at the University of Virginia in 2016, and obtained an MBA in Business from Averett University.
