Attila J Bukta

Attila J Bukta, PhD, currently serves as the Head of SRE and Observability at Coupang, where responsibilities include building Site Reliability Engineering in a rapidly growing eCommerce environment. Previously held the position of VP SRE at Genesys, where Attila bootstrapped the new SRE practice and oversaw observability. With extensive experience from Workday, including roles as Sr Director and Director of OMS SRE, Attila focused on ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability of core technology components within the Workday SaaS platform. Prior to Workday, Attila worked at Oracle Corp as a Principal Software Engineer/DBA. Attila holds a PhD in Engineering/Dynamics from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and multiple master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Russian Technical Synchronized Translation.
