Kayla Soomin Jung

Kayla Soomin Jung is an experienced professional with a background in recruitment and research. Currently serving as a Sr. Sourcer at Coupang since December 2021, Kayla focuses on client relations and recruitment assignments. Prior experience includes a role as a Researcher at Amrop Korea from October 2018 to December 2021, where responsibilities involved managing communications with clients and candidates while executing recruitment tasks. Kayla also contributed as a Research Assistant at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies in early 2017, engaging in research related to terrorism data, and served as a Student Assistant for Budget and Policy Analysis at the Office of the NYS Comptroller in 2016, analyzing state budgeting issues. Additionally, Kayla held the position of Vice President at the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) from August 2015 to May 2016. Kayla holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University at Albany.
