Chris White

Chris White is the CFO at Coursello. Prior to joining Coursello, Chris served as a course facilitator and coach at Stanford GSB Executive Education from January 2017 to December 2018. In this role, Chris served as interim CFO or Senior Finance leader for various SaaS, ecommerce and edtech companies. Some of the selected client engagements Chris was a part of include: a VC-funded SaaS scaleup for data analytics and data visualization; a global provider of scooter and ebike rentals; and a SaaS provider of sales software tools.

At the VC-funded SaaS scaleup for data analytics and data visualization, Chris created the company’s first bottom-up budget and provided guidance to and partnered with business leads. Chris also reported on quarterly/annual plan vs actuals to management, investors and internal stakeholders; and managed a team of data scientists toward proper tracking of metrics such as CAC, retention and LTV.

As the global provider of scooter and ebike rentals, Chris led and trained the EMEA Accounting team, overseeing process improvements and GI reconciliations. Chris also ensured all country financial practices and controls were consistent with national regulations; and monitored and managed cash levels, supplier payments and customer receipts at various banks.

Lastly, at the SaaS provider of sales software tools, Chris replaced departing CFO, rebuilding Finance and Accounting organizations. Chris coordinated the company sale process, resulting in investment from consortium of strategic investors and private equity; served as primary execution professional; and managed data-request fulfillment.

Chris White has a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University.
