Alaa Hassan

Alaa Hassan is a skilled professional in the field of linguistics and translation, currently serving as a Teaching Assistant in the German department at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Suez Canal University since April 2022. Alaa has also contributed as a German Translator volunteer for Coursera and TEDx since June 2020, while engaging in freelance subtitle translation since January 2020. Previous experience includes a role as a Back Office Employee at Vodafone from November 2021 to April 2022, and a trainee position as a German Translator at Alakhbar el-yom in August 2019. Alaa completed a Licentiate degree in Germanic Languages, Literatures, Linguistics, and Translation at the Faculty of Al-Alsun from 2017 to 2021, complemented by additional studies at the Technical University of Munich in September 2021.
