Erik Brobyn has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and development. Erik is currently working as a Software Engineer at CourtAlert, where they are responsible for new feature design and development, bug fixes, support, and deployments in a .NET development environment.
Prior to their current role, Erik worked at Compyl as a Senior Full-Stack Developer, focusing on new feature development, refactoring, deployment, API and SQL optimization, code reviews, and documentation. Erik also implemented key queries and aggregations for key metrics, as well as a hybrid Role-Based Access Control User API.
Before that, Erik worked at Fenergo as a Support Engineer, handling installations, configurations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of multiple application versions. Erik also worked with technologies like .NET, SQL, C#, and JavaScript.
Erik has also held roles at Music Choice, Leidos, Lockheed Martin, Super Systems Inc (SSI), Dexter Systems, Crisp Mobile, and Analytical Mechanics Associates, where they gained experience in application development, UI design and implementation, architecture, and integration of legacy systems.
Throughout their career, Erik has worked with various technologies and frameworks, including SQL, C#, VB, DevExpress components, Mongo, Winforms, git tools, Azure, ASP, Entity Framework, OData, AngularJS, and more. Erik has a strong background in .NET development and a solid understanding of software development best practices.
Erik Brobyn pursued their education at The City College of New York, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 2000 to 2005. Later, in 2019, they went back to The City College of New York and attained another Bachelor of Science degree, this time in Physics, which they completed in 2020.
