Beth Hamill is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Judicial Assistant to the Superior Courts at the Courts Service since September 2023. Previously, Beth worked at the Innocence Project as a Caseworker and Legislative Reform Researcher from September 2022 to September 2023. The Courts Service was established as an independent corporate organisation on 9th November, 1999 following the enactment of the Courts Service Act, 1998. We employ around 1,000 staff in 40 locations nationwide. Our functions are: -to manage the courts -to provide support services for the judges -to provide information on the courts system to the public -to provide, manage and maintain court buildings -to provide facilities for users of the courts.
