Peter Firth

Peter Firth serves as the General Manager HSEC for Covalent Lithium Pty Ltd since June 2023, having previously held positions as a Safety Leadership Coach at Rio Tinto Resource Development since 2022 and at Rio Tinto since July 2017. Firth's consulting experience includes founding PGF Consultancy in July 2016, focusing on leadership, workplace culture, diagnostics, and safety training. Firth has also worked as a Safety Leadership Coach for Rossing Uranium Namibia, and served in various roles at Argyle Diamonds Limited and Rio Tinto Diamonds, including HSEC Manager and Global HSEC Manager, showcasing a strong focus on health, safety, environment, and community engagement throughout a diverse career in the mining sector. Educational qualifications include completion of the Managers Development Program from Melbourne Business School.
