Brian Short

Brian Short is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in writing, editing, and content management across various media platforms. Currently serving as a QA Web Editor at Covalent Resource Group since October 2022, Brian previously held the position of Technical Writer at Developrise LLC, where responsibilities included producing technical documentation and marketing copy. Brian's tenure at the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts spanned nearly eight years, during which roles included Editorial Manager and University Magazine Editor for the award-winning LSA Magazine. Additionally, Brian has experience as a Lecturer, developing and teaching digital storytelling and writing courses. Brian holds a Certificate in Full Stack Web Development from Michigan State University and an MFA in Fiction from the University of Michigan, complemented by a BA in East Asian Studies from Penn State University.
