John Del Forno

John Del Forno has extensive work experience in the field of infrastructure and systems engineering. John has worked in various roles at different companies, starting with their most recent position at Covaler as the Infrastructure Lead. In this role, they were responsible for auditing infrastructure, creating roadmaps for migration to a cloud platform, implementing security measures, managing project budgets, and working on incident management and site reliability engineering.

Prior to working at Covaler, John worked at StarRez, Inc. as a Senior Cloud Engineer. Their responsibilities included day-to-day operations tasks, training team members, and assisting with solution design for new projects. John successfully implemented Azure Lighthouse and created an Azure Function to generate JIRA tickets for expiring secrets.

Before that, John worked at Intelematics as a Senior System Administrator. Their main focus was driving efficiency through cloud platforms such as Azure, Salesforce, and Okta. Unfortunately, their contract came to an end due to a company restructuring.

John also held positions at Centorrino Technologies as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they handled level 3 issues related to various systems, and at Treasury Wine Estates as an IT Senior Systems Analyst, where they managed the Trebuchet Logistics System.

In addition, John worked at Trebuchet Logistics Pty Ltd as an IT Business Support & Infrastructure Lead, supporting Citrix XenApp and various infrastructure tasks. John also worked at Dell as a Cloud and Infrastructure Support Engineer, providing desktop support and user state migration.

Furthermore, John worked at Carlton & United Breweries as a Desktop Engineer, assisting with domain migration and providing audit support. John also worked at Kraft Foods as an Incident Manager, handling the migration of user and computer objects within Active Directory.

John began their career at Hewlett-Packard as a Field Services Engineer.

John Del Forno attended Kangan Batman Tafe from 2006 to 2007, where they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering.
