Yiyi Yan

Yiyi Yan's work experience begins with their current position as a Full Stack Robotics Engineer at Covariant, a role they started in September 2022. Prior to joining Covariant, Yiyi worked at Motion Metrics as a System Engineering Intern from September 2020 to December 2020 and as a Software Engineer Intern from May 2020 to August 2020. Yiyi also gained experience at UBC Unmanned Aircraft Systems, where they held various roles including Senior Payload Member from September 2020 to November 2020, Payload Lead from September 2018 to September 2020, and Software Developer from January 2017 to August 2018. Additionally, Yiyi worked as a Research Assistant at UBC Collaborative Advanced Robotics and Intelligent Systems Laboratory (CARIS) from January 2020 to May 2020, and as a Research Assistant at the University of British Columbia Electrical and Computer Engineering from January 2019 to July 2019.

Yiyi Yan pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from 2016 to 2021 at The University of British Columbia. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2016, Yiyi attended Langara College where the degree pursued is unknown but the field of study was Computer Science.
