Mariz Capistrano, CFMP

Mariz Capistrano has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

Starting in 2009, Mariz worked as a Computer Attendant and Cashier at Nethauz and More Internet More. From 2010 to 2016, they took on various roles at Cebu Greenmate Manpower Services, including Payroll Supervisor and Compensation and Benefits Incharge. During this time, they handled general payroll processing, government remittances, and client relations.

In 2016, Mariz joined Bloomberg Singapore/East West Educational Spec as a Certified Financial Markets Professional. Mariz then worked as an HR Assistant specializing in Compensation and Benefits and Billing at Mactan Warehousing & Logistics Services.

In 2018, Mariz joined L5 Heavy Equipment Construction Inc as an HR Head. In this role, they reported directly to the General Manager, assisted the Accounting Manager with billing concerns, and managed payroll and billing for clients in the Visayas region.

In 2019, Mariz worked as an Accountant at The Brand Ensembles before joining Yao Heng Builders Pte Ltd as a Junior Accountant. At Yao Heng Builders, they had responsibilities including general accounting, cost accounting, tax accounting, and customer relations. Mariz worked closely with the senior accountant for accounts reporting and GST filing.

In 2021, Mariz held the position of Finance Controller at ZATTKIE JAMASI Music before transitioning to a role at Inspired for Life as a Finance cum Personal Assistant. Currently, they are a Finance Team Leader at Cove.

Throughout their career, Mariz has demonstrated expertise in finance, accounting, payroll, billing, and customer relations.

Mariz Capistrano completed their Associate in Computer Technology degree from the Asian College of Technology - International Educational Foundation, specializing in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services, from 2006 to 2009. Mariz then pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Management Accounting, at the University of Cebu from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Mariz obtained various certifications, including Verified International Academic Qualifications from the World Education Services in April 2022, Bloomberg Professional and Certified Financial Markets Professional from East West International Educational Specialists in June 2016 and May 2016 respectively. Mariz also obtained a SAP Certified SAP Business All-in-One Application Associate Logistics certification from the University of Cebu in March 2016. Mariz further participated in the Leadership Training Program at the University of Cebu in September 2015.
