Brian Tieman

Brian Tieman, MBA has over two decades of work experience in various leadership and executive roles. Brian is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer at Covenant Care, Corp., where they lead teams in Human Resources, Education, Corporate Compliance, and Marketing. Prior to this, Brian held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at the same company.

Before joining Covenant Care, Brian worked as an Associate Vice President of Human Resources at another organization, where they were a part of the executive leadership team and oversaw HR and Education functions. Brian also has experience as a Senior Director of Human Resources at a different company, where they managed diverse HR responsibilities such as recruitment, employee relations, cultural development, compensation, and benefits.

Brian's career journey includes working as a Human Resources Consultant at Horace Mann and serving in various capacities at Memorial Health System (IL), including System Director of Employee Relations. Brian also held the position of Human Resources Director at Carlinville Area Hospital.

In the earlier stages of their career, Brian gained experience as a Recruiter at Express Employment Professionals and as a Customer Support Analyst at Karmak. Through these roles, Brian has developed strong leadership skills, successfully managed teams, and demonstrated expertise in multiple HR functions.

Brian Tieman obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Eastern Illinois University in 1997. Brian later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Benedictine University, completing it between 2009 and 2011. In addition to their degrees, they hold certifications from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and Vital Smarts as a Certified Crucial Conversations Trainer.
