Steven Donchey, MD, FACP has a diverse work experience spanning various medical institutions. Steven currently holds the position of Chief Medical Officer at Covenant Care, Corp. since February 2021, and prior to this role, they served as the Associate Medical Director from May 2019. In 2020, they began working as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Services at Florida State University College of Medicine. Dr. Steven Donchey MD, FACP completed their education in a chronological order. Steven started by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from SUNY Orange in 1981. Steven then pursued further education at Palm Beach Atlantic University from 1982 to 1984, focusing on Biological Sciences and Chemistry. In 1984, they graduated from Ross University School of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Following this, they completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Seton Hall University of Graduate Medical Education from 1988 to 1989. Steven continued their residency in Internal Medicine at the same institution from 1989 to 1991. Additionally, they completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Seton Hall University of Graduate Medical Education from 1992 to 1993.
Dr. Donchey has also obtained multiple certifications throughout their career. Steven became a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1991, 2001, and 2011. In 1992, they received certifications in Medicine and Surgery from the states of New York and New Jersey, respectively. Steven also obtained a certification in Medicine and Surgery from the state of Florida in 1991. Furthermore, they have certifications in Hospice & Palliative Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2009 and 2019. Lastly, they have an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association in 2007.
