Nicole Shields

Nicole Shields currently serves as the Medical Director of Clinical Informatics at Covenant Health, a position held since January 2020. Prior to this, Nicole was the Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Medical Director at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine from May 2013 to December 2021. Additionally, Nicole contributed as an Adjunct Faculty member at Methodist University Physician Assistant Program, instructing a Pediatrics course from August 2011 to September 2012, and practiced as a Physician at Cape Fear Family Medicine, providing primary care and urgent care services from July 2011 to September 2012. Nicole's medical education includes completing both a Family Medicine Residency and Internship at Duke University from January 2008 to January 2011.
