Ed Stelmach has significant leadership experience in both the public and private sectors. Currently serving as Chair of the Board of Directors for Covenant Health, Canada's largest Catholic health care organization, Stelmach has expertise in overseeing large organizations with diverse workforces. Previous roles include Honourary Director for the Consulting Engineers of Alberta, where Stelmach contributed to the representation of over 8,000 engineering professionals, and Vice Chairman of the Board for Genalta Power, a company specializing in waste energy projects. Stelmach's extensive political career includes 19 years as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville, during which time Stelmach held various ministerial positions such as Minister of Agriculture and Transportation, and culminated as Premier of Alberta.
