Mike Chesser

Mike Chesser has over 27 years of work experience in various roles within the transportation and distribution industry. Mike began their career at PepsiCo as a Route Sales representative, where they were responsible for sales, marketing, and customer delivery. After six years at PepsiCo, they joined Bennett Distribution Services as a Yard Jockey, eventually transitioning to Yard Supervisor and then Logistics Manager. In this role, they had full P&L responsibility and oversaw YMS development, asset tracking, and goods tracking. In 2006, Chesser joined Landair as the General Manager, a position they held for over 15 years. Currently, they serve as the Sr. Director of Operations at Covenant, where they utilize their extensive experience to oversee operations within the company.

Mike Chesser obtained an AS degree in CAD from Walters State Community College in 1993-1994. Mike also has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Aveta Business Institute, obtained in 2011.
