Samuel Maycock

Samuel Maycock has a diverse work experience history. Samuel started their career at O2 UK as a Sales Advisor and Business Specialist, where they handled customer inquiries, processed contracts, and sales of various products. Samuel then transitioned to the healthcare industry, working for the NHS as a Junior Data Analyst, focusing on data analysis and maintaining data integrity. Samuel further enhanced their skills in performance testing at McKesson UK, where they worked as an ESR Technical Performance Test Analyst. Samuel performed operations performance testing, test execution, and analysis of bottlenecks or performance issues. Samuel also worked at IBM as a Technical Performance Test Analyst, contributing to the development of the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system for the NHS. Samuel joined Sainsbury's as a Volume and Performance Test Engineer, where they worked on HR and Logistics projects, utilizing tools such as JMeter, HP LoadRunner, and HP Performance Center. Currently, Samuel works at Coventry Building Society as a Senior QA Test Engineer and Portfolio Test Lead.

Samuel Maycock completed their education from 2006 to 2008 at North Warwickshire and Hinckley College, where they obtained a BTEC National Certificate in Computing. Samuel then continued their studies from 2008 to 2012 at De Montfort University, earning a BSc Honours (Sandwich) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their academic qualifications, Samuel also obtained several certifications in various areas of IT, including QTP 11 and LoadRunner 11 from Edgewords, ISTQB - BCS Certified Tester Foundation Level, and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, all in the year 2013.
