Heather Sears

Heather Sears is a seasoned professional in researcher development and training, currently serving as the Head of Researcher Development and Programme Manager for Doctoral Training at Coventry University. With prior experience as a Senior Training and Development Officer for Researcher Skills at the University of Leeds, and a Subject Specialist at the Subject Centre for Bioscience within the Higher Education Academy, Heather has a strong background in enhancing research capabilities. Additionally, Heather has held senior research associate positions at both the University of Oxford and the University of East Anglia. Heather completed a PhD in Biological Sciences and a BSc(Hons) in Biological Sciences (with a year in Sweden) at the University of East Anglia.
