Sophia Liu

Sophia Liu is a Senior Actuary at Cover Genius since June 2022, bringing a wealth of experience in actuarial roles across prominent companies. Previous positions include Acting Manager for Commercial Lines Pricing and Pricing Lead at Allianz from July 2019 to June 2022, Data Scientist at IAG from July 2018 to June 2019, and Actuary and Actuarial Analyst at RACQ from January 2016 to June 2018. Additionally, Sophia served as a University Tutor at the Australian National University in late 2015. Sophia holds a Master’s Degree in Actuarial Science from The Australian National University, and has achieved Fellow status in General Insurance and Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary from the Institute of Actuaries of Australia. An educational foundation in Applied Mathematics was earned from Peking University, where a Bachelor of Science was obtained.
