Steve Franzen

Steve Franzen has an extensive work experience in the field of information technology. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as the Managing Principal of Information Technologies at Integrated Distribution Solutions. Steve then joined Union Pacific Railroad as a Senior Systems Engineer from 2002 to 2008. In 2008, they became the CIO and VP of Technical Sales/Operations at PayFlex®, where they were responsible for re-engineering IT systems and overseeing strategic planning, implementation, and support. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the CIO SrVP - Technology at Central Valley Ag Coop, leading business transformations and developing scalable solutions. Steve then joined First National Bank of Omaha in 2013, where they held roles as an Enterprise Architect and later as the Senior Director of Emerging Technologies. In these roles, they focused on aligning IT frameworks with organizational goals, advising cross-functional leaders, and reducing technology expenses while improving customer experience. In 2019, Steve Franzen took on new challenges as the Head of Global Integration-Regional CIO at Cover-More Group and as the Vice President of Information Technology at Travelex Insurance Services.

Steve Franzen attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration. In August 2020, they also received a certification in "Creating a High Performance Culture" from LinkedIn.
