Aaron Richard, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Aaron is currently Vice President of Finance at Cover Whale, where they oversee financial operations. Prior to this, they held the role of AVP Finance at the same company.

Before joining Cover Whale, Aaron worked at Sompo International as a Finance Systems Analyst, where they contributed to financial system improvements from December 2018 to February 2021.

From 2009 to 2018, Aaron held various roles at Allied World. Aaron started as a Senior Statutory Accountant, responsible for financial reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and statutory filings. Aaron then became a Senior GAAP Accountant, leading a ledger upgrade project and implementing new process automation. Finally, they served as a Financial System Analyst, providing help-desk assistance and user management for the ledger and reporting tools.

Prior to their tenure at Allied World, Aaron worked as a Senior Accountant / Statistical Analyst at Cambridge Integrated Services, monitoring and analyzing data entries and error correction in the policy system.

Aaron began their career as a Senior Reinsurance Accountant at Alea North America Insurance Company, where they performed general ledger reconciliations and created financial exhibits.

Aaron also gained experience as a Real Estate Analyst at Marcus & Millichap, conducting financial analysis and modeling for various real estate properties.

Aaron's earliest work experience was as an Accountant at Better Valu Supermarkets, where they handled accounts payable and invoice verification.

Throughout their career, Aaron has demonstrated expertise in finance, system analysis, accounting, and real estate analysis.

Aaron Richard earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Johnson & Wales University between the years 1997 and 2001. Aaron later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus in Accounting and Business/Management at the University of New Haven from 2002 to 2004.
