Mitchel S. started their work experience in 2013 at The Vitamin Shoppe, where they worked as a Sales Associate and Keyholder, providing expert guidance and delivering high-quality nutritional and self-care solutions. Mitchel then joined PlaceIQ in 2016 as an Accounting Intern, where they processed monthly vendor invoices and gained real-world accounting experience. Mitchel later became an Accountant, responsible for various financial areas, including Accounts Payable, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, COGS, and SG&A. In this role, Mitchel managed up to $5M in monthly vendor invoices, resolved discrepancies, and generated reports to strategically organize payments and reduce late fees by 95%. Mitchel further advanced their career at PlaceIQ as a Senior Accountant, overseeing $3M worth of monthly revenue recognition, preparing journal entries and reconciliations accurately and timely to the income statement. Currently, Mitchel is working as an Accounting Manager at Covera Health, starting in 2023.

Mitchel S. completed their high school education from 2008 to 2012 at the High School for Construction Trades, Engineering, and Architecture. Mitchel obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on Construction Management during this time. Following this, from 2012 to 2016, Mitchel attended Hunter College and obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting.
