Xiaojin Dong

Xiaojin Dong has a strong background in data science and research. Xiaojin most recently worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Covera Health starting in September 2019. Prior to that, they were an Insight Fellow at Insight Data Science from January 2019 to August 2019. Xiaojin also has experience as a Financial Advisor at New York Life Insurance Company from January 2018 to November 2018. Their earlier work experience includes roles as a Research Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Instructor at Stony Brook University from January 2011 to May 2016, and as a Research Assistant at the Food and Environmental Department of the University of Helsinki from August 2008 to January 2010.

Xiaojin Dong pursued their education from 2006 to 2016, starting with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Helsinki. Xiaojin then went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Stony Brook University.
