Lee McWhorter

Lee McWhorter has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the technology and education sectors. Lee currently serves as the CTO/Director of Cyber Security Training and Services at Covered 6, where they oversee technical and cyber security operations. Prior to that, they worked as an Instructor/Speaker/Presenter at CompTIA, where they developed and taught courses on PenTest+ training. McWhorter also has experience as the Owner/Chief Geek of McWhorter Technologies, where they provided IT and security services. Lee has held positions as an Instructor/Lead Author of Cyber Security at Woz U, Adjunct Faculty Instructor/Subject Matter Expert at ITT Educational Services, and EVP/COO at Persidea Inc. Lee has also worked as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Tulane University and as the SVP of Production and Technical Operations at Viviance New Education AG. Additionally, they have held managerial and teaching roles at Pervasive Software and New Horizons Computer Learning Centers. McWhorter has a strong background in cyber security, training, and technology management.

Lee McWhorter holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Economics from Midwestern State University. Additionally, they also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Economics from the same university. Lee has obtained various certifications, including CASP+, CSAE, CSIE, CCAP, CIoTSP, CSCP, Cloud+, CNIP, A+ (90x series), CIOS, CSIS, CSSS, and CLNP from CompTIA, as well as CFR from CertNexus.
