Brandy Sneed, FSA, MAAA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Brandy currently serves as the Co-Owner and Rental Partner at rents-4-baby, a business they run with their partner Chris. Prior to this, Brandy held the position of Chief Actuary at Covered California. Brandy also co-owned and worked as an Independent Quality Provider with BabyQuip, focusing on providing high-quality gear and exceptional customer service to traveling families. Brandy has experience in real estate as well, as they served as the Vice President of Finance at Next Gen Capital Real Estate Group, managing a significant portfolio of assets. In 2019, they took on the role of a mother and actively supports the Hey Mama campaign, advocating for motherhood to be recognized as valuable work experience. Brandy's earlier experiences include being a Director & Actuary at Anthem, Inc., a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting, an Actuarial Analyst at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, and an Associate Actuarial Analyst at Mercer Human Resource Consulting.

Brandy Sneed, FSA, MAAA, has a strong educational background in statistics and actuarial science. From 2000 to 2002, Brandy attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics & Actuarial Science. Prior to that, in 1999, Brandy briefly attended Rutgers University - Newark, and in 1998-1999, Loyola University Maryland.

In addition to their academic achievements, Brandy has obtained two significant certifications in the field of actuarial science. In 2010, Brandy became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, earning this prestigious designation from the Society of Actuaries. In 2009, Brandy also became a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, an esteemed institution in the field.
