Jean-Paul Rasschaert

Jean-Paul Rasschaert is a seasoned executive in the cardiology medical device industry with a strong background in start-up companies. As the CEO and founder of St Paul Medical, LLC since February 2017, Rasschaert has focused on Trans-Catheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) projects. Previously, as CEO and co-founder of Mitralbridge from December 2017 to February 2021, Rasschaert raised 3.5 MM Euros for innovative mitral valve technologies. Other notable roles include VP of Business Development at Endobetix, board director at Symetis, and CEO at multiple organizations such as MitralFlex and Epitek, Inc. Rasschaert's expertise spans product launches, sales and marketing strategies, and successful fundraising efforts, evidenced by significant financial acquisitions and exits throughout a distinguished career. Education includes a BA in International Marketing with a focus on Biomedical Technologies from the University of the District of Columbia and a college degree in Mathematics and Latin from Brussels, Belgium.
