Guillermo Álvarez

Guillermo Álvarez is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and analytics. Currently a Senior Data Engineer at CoverWallet, an Aon company, since October 2022, Guillermo also lectures in deep learning and data analytics at Nuclio Digital School. Previous roles include Data Engineer at MaaS Global Ltd, where Guillermo designed data infrastructure for the Whim app, and Data Science Specialist at Vodafone, leading the development of cloud-based B2B IoT products. Guillermo’s earlier experience encompasses positions as Data Scientist at Accenture and Synergic Partners, and as a Junior Consultant at Capgemini. Starting as Co-Founder at Ilium Systems and contributing to hardware design at Fuve, Guillermo holds a degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
