Alison Harr Phr

Alison Harr, PHR, SHRM-CP has over 17 years of work experience in the field of Human Resources and talent management. Alison is currently serving as the Director of Talent Management & Recruiting at Coverys, a medical professional liability insurance and services provider. Prior to this, they held the positions of Senior Talent Manager and Talent Manager at the same company. In their role as a Talent Manager at Coverys, Alison was responsible for national recruitment, performance management, employment branding, headcount budgeting and reporting, compensation practices/analysis, talent management, and selected training programs. Alison played a key role in evaluating, redesigning, and implementing a new performance management system.

Before joining Coverys, Alison worked as a Senior Recruiter at Cambridge Associates, a global investment consulting firm. Alison also worked as a Corporate Employment Representative at NCO Group, where they performed full lifecycle recruitment and provided support to field recruiters and hiring managers.

Alison Harr, PHR, SHRM-CP, attended the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York, from 1999 to 2003. Alison obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Human Resources and Marketing during that time.

In addition to their formal education, Alison has also obtained several certifications. In June 2014, they earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Then, in October 2015, they obtained the SHRM-CP (Certified Professional) certification from SHRM.

Most recently, in November 2020, Alison achieved the Certified Talent Acquisition Specialty certification from SHRM.
