Baishali Gupta

Baishali Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Baishali started their career as a Trainee Engineer at Kalpana Industries Limited in 2004. From there, they worked as the Departmental Head of Thermal & Mechanical Department at the Indian Rubber Manufacturers Research Association in 2007. Baishali then joined Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd in 2008 as an Assistant Manager, where they played a crucial role in Technical Service & Trouble Shooting, Continuous Improvement of Product Quality, and New Grade and Application Development of Polyolefin. In 2010, they moved to Bayer MaterialScience as a Manager for Technical Services & New Business Development in Thermoplastic Polyurethane, and they stayed there until 2013. After that, they joined Covestro in 2016 and held various roles within the company, including Lead Business Development & Product Management, Head of Product Management and Business Support, and currently, the Head of Sales and Market Development for TPU in India. Their responsibilities at Covestro included portfolio management, pricing strategy, inventory management, project management, and driving the TPU business according to regional and global strategies.

Baishali Gupta completed their education in a chronological order as follows: Baishali obtained a B.Tech degree in Polymer Science & technology from the University of Calcutta, attending from 2001 to 2004. Continuing their studies, they pursued an M.Tech degree in the same field at Calcutta University from 2005 to 2007. In addition, they enrolled in the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 2005 and completed a program in Operation Management called EPYP, which lasted from 2005 to 2006.
