Bavanji Vekariya

Bavanji Vekariya has extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as Site Manager and Associate General Manager at Covestro since January 2015. Prior roles include Senior Manager at UPL Limited from September to December 2014 and Plant Manager of Polyurethane Systems at BASF from August 2013 to September 2014, overseeing a green field project focused on safety, environmental protection, and engineering processes. Before BASF, Bavanji was Manager of Production at J.M. Huber Corporation from May 2006 to July 2013, where responsibilities included sales and operations planning. Bavanji began the career as Senior Superintendent-Process at Aditya Birla Group, managing Sulfuric Acid and Water Treatment Plants from May 2005 to May 2006. Bavanji holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur and completed a Pathfinder program in Stifinder, Denmark in 2017.
