Cathie Sayles

Cathie Sayles has extensive experience in product safety and regulatory affairs, currently serving as Manager of Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs at Covestro since August 2007. In this role, Cathie manages the Global Center of Excellence for Industrial Hygiene and Raw Materials Management, overseeing customer inquiries, industrial hygiene services, and product stewardship activities, while leading a team of raw material coordinators. Previous positions include Senior Industrial Hygienist at Bayer MaterialScience, where Cathie conducted industrial hygiene surveys and provided education on the safe handling of chemicals, and Health Compliance Officer for the North Carolina Department of Labor, where responsibilities included conducting workplace inspections, mentoring new officers, and providing safety training. Cathie holds a Master of Science in Occupational Health and Safety and a Bachelor in Biology from West Virginia University, along with a Certified Professional in Business Process Management (CPBPM) from Villanova University.
