Christopher Stillings

Dr. Christopher Stillings has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Dr. Christopher started their career as a Research Assistant at Philipps-Universitaet Marburg in 2003 and worked there until 2008. In 2008, they also joined the Strascheg Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship as a Director of Executive Education and Consultant for a few months. Since then, they have been associated with Covestro, where they held multiple positions. Dr. Christopher served as an Innovation Manager from 2008 to 2012 and later became the Corporate Development-Strategic Planning Director from 2012 to 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they served as the Director of Marketing Excellence and then as the Director of Strategic Projects from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they held the position of Vice President-Head of Business Development Asia Pacific. Currently, they are the Vice President-Global Head of Color & Design (CMF) Polycarbonates at Covestro since September 2018.

Dr. Christopher Stillings has a diverse educational background. Dr. Christopher earned their M.Sc. in Innovation Management from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Polymer Chemistry and Nanotechnology from The Philipp University of Marburg in 2006. Dr. Christopher also holds a Dipl. Chem. degree in Chemistry from the same university, which they completed in 2003. In addition to their studies in Germany, Dr. Stillings spent a year at the University of Galway in 2000-2001. Dr. Christopher has also obtained several certifications from INSEAD, including Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption in 2020, Building Digital Partnerships & Ecosystems in 2020, Leading for Results Programme in 2019, and Strategy Execution Programme in 2018.
