Dr. Johannes Kiecherer

Dr. Johannes Kiecherer serves as the Head of Curing Kinetics Thermoplasts at Covestro since March 2017, bringing extensive expertise in reaction kinetics. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) from February 2011 to December 2016, where responsibilities included supervising practical classes and research within the research group focused on predicting safety-relevant ignition processes. Dr. Kiecherer's academic background features a Dr. rer. nat. in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, both obtained from KIT, along with a Diplom in Chemistry. Early experiences also encompass roles as a student assistant and involvement in experimental investigations in kinetics, complemented by a civil service position in occupational therapy.
