Dr. Mira Holzheimer

Dr. Mira Holzheimer is a seasoned expert in chemistry, currently serving as the Lab Head for Holography Raw Materials at Covestro since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung, focusing on total synthesis and metalorganic chemistry from February 2021 to September 2022, as well as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Candidate at the University of Groningen from March 2016 to December 2020, where research concentrated on asymmetric total synthesis of complex natural products. Additional experience comprises research internships in the Chemical Biology department at the University of Groningen and the Division of Medicinal Chemistry at Leiden University. Dr. Holzheimer holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Groningen and a Master's degree in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
