Elias Keedy

Elias Keedy has extensive experience in manufacturing and education, currently serving as the Manufacturing Manager of the Hydrogen Chloride (HCL) Unit and the I&E Reliability & Functional Safety Lead at Covestro since October 2015. Additionally, Elias has been a Professor and Lecturer at the University of Houston-Downtown since August 2012, teaching operations management and supply chain topics, as well as a Lecturer at the University of Houston since November 2014 for graduate courses in statistical process control and reliability engineering. Prior to these roles, Elias worked at Bayer in various engineering positions from July 2011 to October 2015, focusing on process control and functional safety assessments. An early career as a Research Assistant at the University of Houston provided experience in reliability and maintenance engineering. Education includes a PhD and Master's in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston, and a Master's and Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Balamand.
