Isaac Platte

Isaac Platte is a Senior Application Development Engineer at Covestro, with experience since June 2013 in providing engineering support for the healthcare industry, focusing on the design and utilization of polycarbonate in medical applications. Previous roles at Covestro include Application Development Engineer, where Isaac assisted customers in implementing polycarbonate resins and conducted simulations, and Technical Trainee, which involved gaining familiarity with the company’s business units. Isaac also serves on the Board of Directors for SPE: Inspiring Plastics Professionals since April 2018. An Application Development Intern at Bayer MaterialScience during the summer of 2012, Isaac executed FEA simulations and conducted thermal performance testing. Isaac holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, obtained in 2013, and completed high school at Clarkston High School in 2009.
