Jie Fu

Jie Fu is a Process Dynamics and Optimization Specialist at Covestro, with a tenure that began in September 2015. Prior to this role, Jie Fu worked at Bayer Technology Services as a Dynamics Specialist in Process Dynamics and Optimization and held the position of Technology Development Specialist from February 2013 to August 2015. Jie Fu holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Lamar University, where research focused on Product and Process System Engineering, including Planning, Scheduling, Control, and Dynamic Simulation and Optimization. Additionally, Jie Fu served as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant during the academic tenure at Lamar University from August 2008 to December 2012. Educational background includes a one-year exchange program at the University of Houston and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology.
