Sjoerd de Jong is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the powder coating industry. Currently serving as the Global Technical Application Manager for Powder Coating on Heat Sensitive Substrates at Covestro since April 2021, Sjoerd de Jong provides technical support to powder coating producers utilizing Uralac® polyester resins. Prior to this role, Sjoerd de Jong spent over a decade at DSM, where responsibilities included formulating powder coating recipes and supporting customers with DSM Uralac® Ultra technology. Sjoerd de Jong's career progression at DSM includes roles as Technical Application Manager, Assistant Product Manager, and Research Chemist, beginning in 1995.
