Anand Balasubramanian has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Anand began their career as a Business Analyst Intern at HomeAway.com in 2009. Anand then joined Microsoft in 2009 as an Operations Program Manager, where they led various cross-functional teams and projects. At Microsoft, they also served as a Channel Manager, overseeing partner onboarding and managing digital supply chain processes.

In 2014, Anand joined Impinj as the Global Channel Marketing & Customer Relationship Team Manager. In this role, they spearheaded the Global Partner Training Program and played a key role in transitioning the Americas channel to a new distribution model.

Anand joined Iowa State University in 2016 as a Lecturer, teaching a class in the Supply Chain Management department. Anand delivered instruction on quantitative problem solving in logistics and operations management.

In 2015, Anand joined Workiva as a Product Marketing Manager. Anand progressed to the role of Senior Product Marketing Manager and later became the Director of Product Marketing - Growth Solutions Incubations. During their time at Workiva, they played a significant role in driving go-to-market strategies, growth marketing initiatives, and developing partnerships.

In 2018, Anand took on the role of Board President at the India Cultural Association of Central Iowa. Anand managed all digital marketing activities for the organization and successfully drove brand awareness through various campaigns.

Anand also authored a best-selling cookbook called "Kuttis' Cookbook" in 2019 and served as a Principal at Anand Bala Consulting in 2023.

Currently, Anand works as a Product Marketing Manager at Coviance, where they are responsible for product marketing activities.

Anand Balasubramanian's education history is as follows:

Anand completed their Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Texas McCombs School of Business between 2007 and 2009. Before that, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Master's degree (ME) in Industrial Engineering at Texas A&M University. Anand obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University from 1996 to 2000. Anand also completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from RV College Of Engineering during the same period.

Prior to their college education, Anand attended the National Public School from 1984 to 1996, where they obtained their high school degree with a focus on Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Anand has pursued several certifications. Notably, they obtained the certification "Become a Chief of Staff with Brian Rumao" from LinkedIn in June 2020. In the same month, they also completed a certification in Digital Marketing from Udacity. Anand had previously obtained a certification in AI Product Manager from Udacity in February 2020. In 2012, they completed a certification course on "Computer Science 101: Introduction to Computer Science - Building a Search Engine" from Udacity. Finally, they received a Value Proposition Certification from the MECLABS Institute in March 2016.
