Claudia Fernandez

Claudia Fernandez is currently a Summer Associate at Covington & Burling LLP, and previously served as a Summer Law Fellow at Accountability Counsel. With a strong background in research, Claudia has held positions as a Research Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and as a Legal Analyst at Kobre & Kim. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Chicago and a Research Intern at Columbia Law School. Claudia's early career also featured legislative work as an intern in the United States Senate and as an intern for the P.G. Sittenfeld campaign for U.S. Senate. Claudia holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from New York University School of Law, a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago.
