Murray Farrar

Murray Farrar is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in network and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Network/Systems Engineer at Covington County Hospital since May 2022, Murray previously held the position of Director of Information Technology at Delta Industries Inc. from February 2020 to February 2023. Prior to that role, Murray worked as a Senior Network Administrator at St. Dominic Hospital from June 2007 to February 2020, where responsibilities included managing LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and PCI regulations. Murray’s career began as a Network Administrator at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center from January 2004 to June 2007 and included running an IT consulting business, BITS Inc. Additionally, Murray holds an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Hinds Community College and a Network Engineering degree from Virginia College-Jackson.
