Julie Ferguson has a diverse work experience in the healthcare communications field. Julie is the Founder of JFPRMedia Group, where they provide strategic communications counsel to clients. Julie has nearly 20 years of experience in media relations and storytelling in the healthcare sector. Julie has also worked as the Head of Communications at Covira and as an Adjunct Faculty at DePaul University College of Communications. Julie served as the (Interim) Head of External Affairs & Communications at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. and as a Senior Communications Manager at Pfizer. Julie has also worked in roles such as Associate Director of Public Affairs at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Vice President of Corporate/Healthcare at Ketchum, and Senior Manager of Public Affairs at Abbott. In their roles, they have managed public relations efforts, developed communication programs, led strategic development, and implemented corporate social responsibility initiatives. Julie has a strong background in media relations, stakeholder engagement, issue management, and strategic communications planning.
