Yassine Amhal

Yassine AMHAL has over 20 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Their most recent role was as an Associate Director of Product Quality Management at Covis Pharma, where they provided technical oversight and expertise to assigned products for GMP activities. Yassine also led troubleshooting and improvement activities at external Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and oversaw GMP activities related to Technical Transfer and product troubleshooting. Prior to this, Yassine worked as an Associate Director of Project Management at Covis Pharma, where they managed various projects including product development, technology transfer, market expansions, and process validation. Before joining Covis Pharma, they worked at Nestlé as a Senior Global Project Manager and a Senior Process Development Engineer, managing complex innovation projects and developing and optimizing industrial manufacturing processes. Yassine also had previous experience at Galderma as an Industrial Development Project Manager, where they led cross-functional teams, represented Operations in various committees, and provided technical and quality expertise for regulatory dossiers. Prior to this, they worked at Bayer as a Formulation and Scale-Up Engineer intern and at Galderma as a Process Development Scientist. Overall, Yassine AMHAL has a strong background in project management, technical expertise, and regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.

Yassine AMHAL has a diverse educational background. In 1999, they started their education at IUT Chimie de Grenoble and received a Bachelor of Chemistry degree in Chimie analytique in 2001. In 2008 and 2009, Yassine attended two different institutions simultaneously. At the Faculty of Pharmacy - Grenoble, they pursued a Master Science in Health and Medicine Engineering- Industrial Pharmacy, specializing in Formulation, Process, and Production Management. At the same time, they also studied at Grenoble Ecole de Management, earning a Master Pharma Science degree from the business school. In 2015, Yassine underwent training in Project Management at the International Institute for Learning-Paris.

Additionally, Yassine has obtained various certifications. In 2015, they became a Project Manager Professional (PMP) from the PMI Switzerland Chapter. Later, in 2020, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org.
