Sheryl Johnson

Sheryl Johnson is the current General Counsel at Covius. Sheryl has over 25 years of experience working in the financial industry, with a focus on compliance, risk, vendor management and regulatory affairs. Johnson began their career as an attorney at various firms before becoming the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Lender Processing Services, Inc. (LPS). In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all compliance and risk management functions for the company. Sheryl then became the Company Owner and President of Ascendant Risk and Compliance LLC, where they provided advisory services to clients in the financial industry. Johnson later became the Chief Compliance and Risk Officer at Walter Investment Management Corp. before joining Covius in 2019.

Sheryl Johnson received their Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Rutgers Law School and their Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Finance from McGill University.
