Andrea Canidio is a Senior Research Economist at CoW Protocol, specializing in mechanism design, game theory, and the economics of decentralized finance since May 2023. Concurrently, Andrea serves as a Research Associate at the UCL Centre for Blockchain Technologies and as a Mentor at Antler. From June 2017 to June 2023, Andrea held the position of Assistant Professor at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca and previously worked at INSEAD from January 2015 to August 2020 as a Fellow of the Stone Research Center and Visiting Assistant Professor, focusing on teaching Game Theory to MBA students and conducting independent research. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant Professor at Central European University, where course design and doctoral student advising were primary responsibilities. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Economics from Boston University, an MS in Economics from Università Bocconi, a BA in Violin from Accademia Internazionale di Musica di Milano, and a BA in Economics from Università Bocconi.
